If you re-read the post youll see that the Supra *did* in fact jump at the beginning of the race. But once they were spooled and into the race, nothing was gained by anyone. If that Supra was stock, he may have gotten that small jump and then wbtt would have just walked away from him. Also, teh sequential turbos have their pros and cons. The *first* turbo may have spooled sooner but if you look at the "area under the curve" for supra dynos, the real surge of power doesnt really come on until much later on a gear. Later
